I want to get in the habit of making my own fruit juice smoothie at home but I don’t have a juicer nor do I know anything about purchasing one.   Is there any way to make a fruit juice smoothie without a juicer?

A Fruit Juice Smoothie Doesn’t Need a Juicer

The answer to this one is simple.  No.

You can use a juicer to make juice, especially specialty juices.  Think things like carrot juice, beet juice, cabbage juice, etc.  Juicers do a great job of extracting the juice from what might otherwise be considered “non-juicy” vegetables.

But if you are looking to make a Fruit Juice Smoothie, all you need is:

  • Fruit juice — you can use canned, frozen, or fresh squeezed
  • A base — normally ice cream, yogurt, frozen bananas, or frozen yogurt
  • Ice cubes — alternatively, you could freeze the fruit juice into cubes

Blend the ingredients in a blender, and you should be good to go!

    all u need to do is add ice, apple juice, strawberries, bananas, and some pineapple in the blender and BAM u have a fruit smoothie

    mix frozen berries,orange juice, ice and bananas! it turns out delicious and healthy! and if u want u can also pour in some chocolate syrup! hope u like this smoothie!

  4. if you want to have just juice, then put all the fruit into a blender with just a little bit of water.
    if you want a smoothie, blend fruit with ice & then turn it up on high after getting it all mixed to get rid of little bits & chunks of ice.
    you could use a food processor as well!

  5. Experimenting with different fruits is fun, so you can improvise. But be aware of things which you’ll think will taste nice with each other. Banana is used alot.
    Just put a couple of fruits in and then add ice and plain yoghurt.
    Try bananas and strawberries for your first smoothie as it only needs those 2 fruits so it’s very easy yet delicious.

  6. Blender is another option.
