Do I need to put milk in a fruit smoothie?

I want to make a fruit smoothie, but not one that is made with milk…do i use just ice and fruit? do i need to add any juice or anything?

  1. There is no need to add milk to a fruit smoothie, but in most cases you’ll want to add a liquid of some sorts. Other sources of liquids for your fruit smoothie are:

    1) Fruit Juice
    2) Soy milk
    3) Water
    4) Alcohol
    5) Watery fruits, such as watermelon
