  1. If you want to make your own, the best thing to use is frozen fruit. With frozen fruit, you don’t have to add as much ice to the mixture, which can make a watery smoothie. You can either purchase frozen fruit at a supermarket or you can place fresh fruit in bags with a little bit of sugar as a preservative and freeze it yourself.

When I make my own, I usually use the frozen fruit (strawberries are my personal favorite for this, along with banana), some juice (normally orange, but it really doesn’t matter what kind, use whatever you like), some milk or soy milk, and yoghurt or soft tofu to thicken it up. Blend it all, and add some ice to make the smoothie cold, then blend it again. For the extra little vitamin "boost", I’ll usually add a little flaxseed meal to it. Adds dietary fiber and protein to it.

Hope this helps, and I hope they come out as well for you as they have for me!

  2. Bananas, strawberries, and ice with a little bit of vanilla soy milk, and maybe a little bit of vanilla ice cream, it’s really good.

go to smoothie king and buy one

bannanas, pineapple, vanilla yogurt, ice, coconut milk usually tastes good too

  4. just go to power smoothie dey make good ones

  5. dont bother with making your own smoothie…
just go to Jamba Juice. There smoothies are the best and you can add as many different kinds of vitamin boosts as you want

  6. Fresh fruit and low-fat yogurt. Maybe add some ice if you want it more "freezy" like. Don’t use frozen fruits because most of them have added sugar. Also, vanilla yogurt has more sugar than plain, so if you don’t have a sweet tooth, just use plain. Adding some fiber to it will help you stay full longer and make it healthier.

  7. Ayman's Queen says:

8 ounces of light lemonade or fruit punch, 1-1 1/2 cups frozen fruit of your choice… Blend it until it’s the consistency you want. It’s that simple. 🙂

  8. CaSandra B says:

milk and real strawberries and vailla or strawberry ice cream add all of them and a bladder and there you go

  9. LuckyWife says:

    Strawberry Freeze:

1 1/4lbs. frozen unsweetened strawberries, 12oz. strawberrie yougurt, 3Tbs. powdered sugar, 1/2tsp. vanilla extract. (Garnish with Cool Whip and berries.) Throw it all in the blender and blend till smooth

  10. I love smoothies they taste great and you can get really creative with what you put into them. I have always found that frozen fruit works best to make it thick and then you dont have to add ice. I usually use frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries and any other berry then some yogurt, orange juice, bananna and pinnapple is great too! Just be careful because fruit although it is good for you does have lots of sugar and you would be surprised how many calories are in a smoothie. Have fun mixing in your favorite fruits just remember to also use some sort of juice so it all mixes well.

Yeah lose those pounds. No one likes a chubby one…anyways, you can starts off by getting the fruits that you like in a grocery store or soemthing and buy skim milk or 1% percent milk to make it taste good. Dont forget the ice and stuff. Put splenda in it–sugar that has very low calories besides sugar-sugar….and wa la! You have your smoothie.

  12. Usually I will freeze whole strawberrys, bananas, and blue berries- when it comes time to make a smoothie, I add a whole banana, three or four big strawberries, a few blue berries or raspberries, 1/2 cup of vanilla soy milk, 1 cup of unflavored yogurt, 1 tbl spoon of sugar (optional) and top it off with ice and blend.
This can take a place of a breakfast or lunch.
