Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe with Apple Juice – Ingredients
Bananas are a primary component of many tasty smoothies. Bananas can be used fresh or frozen.
To freeze bananas, peel them and break them into chunks. Place them into freezer bags for later use. Frozen bananas help thicken smoothies better than fresh bananas.
Bananas add plenty of potassium to your diet, as well as iron, magnesium and vitamin B6.
Apple Juice has a myriad of health benefits. It is rich in anti oxidants which help in the prevention of various diseases. It also has a lot of Vitamin C which can boost the immune system.
Blending apple juice into smoothies is highly recommended for creating a thinner consistency. After blending, it is best to immediately consume the smoothie as letting it sit for awhile will change the texture. In case the smoothie comes out too thin because of the apple juice, just add some ice cubes.
Strawberries are sweet as well as healthy. Whether frozen or fresh, they make your smoothie tasty and colorful. Remove the green tops if you are using fresh strawberries in your smoothie.
Strawberries provide vitamin C, flavonoids, iron and potassium to your diet.
Strawberries also contain cancer-fighting properties, so smoothie up!
