Making a Frozen Watermelon Drink

Frozen Watermelon Drink

Who doesn’t love a good Frozen Watermelon Drink?

OK. Maybe this isn’t really frozen, but it sure looks good!  On top of that, I love Rita’s accent.

I don’t know about you guys, but for me there is nothing that spells summer like watermelon.  Bundling the sweet goodness of watermelon into a watermelon drink just sounds mouth-watering!

This recipe is quick and easy, requiring only three ingredients to make. I might add some ice cubes to thicken it a bit, but what can I say… it isn’t my recipe!

A watermelon drink provides a healthy dose of:

  • Lycopene, a powerful antioxidant
  • Vitamin A, to improve eye health and boost immunity
  • Vitamin B6, to help the immune system promote antibodies
  • Vitamin C, to bolster the immune system’s fight against viruses and fight infections
  • Potassium, to help prevent muscle cramps

One cup of watermelon juice, the main component of this watermelon drink, contains only 71 calories.

Frozen Watermelon Drink Blender

If you’d like to enjoy a watermelon drink like the one above, you don’t need to spend a fortune on the blender.  Watermelon is pretty easy to blend thanks to its liquidy (is that even a word?) consistency.

Here’s an affordable blender that should work well for making your watermelon drink.
